On April 16, 2015, I was invited to sing the memorial prayer, El Malei Rachamim, at the annual Holocaust Memorial service in the White House Rotunda.
I chanted the special text of the prayer, written for the victims of the Holocaust, before the assembled members of Congress, as well as members of the military, other clergy, the Israeli ambassador, and many holocaust survivors and their families.
At this annual event, I was fortunate to meet many dignitaries including the great John Lewis (may he rest in peace) pictured here.
