I’m now retired from full time work in a synagogue. Baltimore Hebrew Congregation honored me last spring by giving me emeritus status. We’ve moved back up to Massachusetts to be close to the grandchildren, where we are getting the hang of our new situation.
I’m excited to announce that OySongs has published my latest CD project, a live recording of music from one of my final services at Baltimore Hebrew, accompanied by a 35 person choir, a string quartet, a woodwind trio, and a band. Some never recorded compositions of mine are included along with a couple of High Holiday standards. It’s called “Cantor Robbie Solomon Live at BHC.”
Robbie,
I have been thinking about you and Helen for a few weeks now. When your songs appeared on Facebook this morning I can’t tell you how much it meant! I would love to be in touch with you again.
Hi Robbie,
I was wondering if you had the lyrics from Forever Blessed available. A few years ago I was able to contact your accompanist and get the piano accompaniment as well as another truck from the CD. It would be nice to have simply the lyrics to sing along with as I have always enjoyed singing along with your music.
I hope you are enjoying your retirement back here in Massachusetts. I am still living in Sharon.

David, I’m sorry this is so delayed. Here are the lyrics:
Baruch haba’ah b’shem Adonai
Beirachnuchem mibet Adonai
We welcome you, who come in God’s name
And here in God’s house may you be blessed
And may the words of Torah always be sweet in your mouth
That you may be forever blessed
Baruch haba’ah b’shem Adonai
Beirachnuchem mibet Adonai
When you have learned where wisdom is found,
Where power is found and understanding
Then you will know the length of your days, the strength of you life
And where there’s love and where there’s peace.
